Seamless fades worth the drive from Kendal — 30 minutes straight up the M6
Fades are our bread and butter. It's comfortably the most requested service we offer, and when something makes up the bulk of your working day, you either get very good at it or you get found out fast. We got good at it. 4.8 stars across 97+ Google reviews kind of good.
A skin fade lives or dies on the blend. The transition from skin to length has to be invisible — no lines, no steps, no patches where the gradient falls apart. That kind of precision comes from doing thousands of fades and understanding that every head is different. The curvature of the skull, the density of the hair, the direction it grows — all of these change how the fade needs to be built. Andrew and Isaac read those details instinctively at this point and adjust their approach for every client.
The M6 makes the journey from Kendal effortless. It's a straight motorway run with no towns to crawl through, and once you've had a fade done at this standard, the 30-minute drive stops feeling like an inconvenience and starts feeling like a fortnightly routine. A fair few of our Kendal regulars would say exactly that.
Not all fades are created equal, and the right one depends on your hair, your head shape and the look you're going for. Here's what we do:
Can't decide? We'll walk you through it when you sit down. For a deeper dive, have a read of our Skinfade vs Taper Fade guide.
