An easy drive up the M6 for expert barbers with 97+ Google reviews
Kendal is a great town with plenty going on, but when it comes to finding a barber who really nails it every time, we'd like to think we're worth the 35-minute drive north. About 28 miles up the M6, exit at Junction 40, and you're practically at our door on Skirsgill Lane, Penrith. It's one of those drives that barely registers, especially on a quiet morning.
We've had regulars from Kendal, Staveley, Burneside, and the surrounding villages who've been coming to us for a while now. The feedback is always the same: the quality of the cut is a step above what they were getting locally, and the experience of the visit makes it feel worthwhile. Andrew and Isaac take their time with every client. There's no rushing, no production line. Just proper barbering, done right.
Whether you're after a clean skinfade, a textured crop, a classic scissor cut, or a beard trim, we've got you covered. Our 97 Google reviews at a 4.8-star average tell the story better than we ever could. Free parking outside the shop, online booking so you don't wait around, and prices that are genuinely fair.
If you're heading up this way, make a morning of it. Get your cut, grab a coffee in Penrith, or have a wander around. There's plenty worse ways to spend a Saturday.
